STUDENTS

We encourage and welcome veterinary and veterinary technician students from all years. Externships and internships are a large part of a students learning opportunities. We are proud to offer one on one mentorship and are dedicated to building confidence by doing.  External rotations are also available through WCVM and The University of Melbourne. Westwinds also offers students interested in job shadowing or volunteering, to come see firsthand what a day in the life of a mobile practice looks like. One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is mentoring and teaching our future colleagues, who will go on to ensure the health and wellness of animals for years to come.
