EQUINE URGENT CARE

WMVS is proud to offer equine urgent care both after hours and during business hours on the days our equine team is on call. We currently share after hours call with other clinics. If you are in need of this service day or night please call us and you will be transferred directly as needed.

AMBULATORY

Westwinds is equipped with equine ambulatory units. Our equine emergency team will be there when you need us. These services will be offered on days when our team is on call. In most cases mobile services are used as a method to stabilize on farm. It is recommended you have access to a trailer as means of transport if your horse is in an emergency situation. Not all treatments can be performed on farm and for the safety of staff and your horse it may need to be hauled in.

IN CLINIC

Meeting at 13105 Blackwater RD west of Prince George, we are ready to handle equine emergencies. We have a large heated area with stocks where you and your equine partner can be comfortable in times of stress. Our team is committed to helping you and your horses through times of need.

Westwinds is excited to utilize Westridge's stalls located right next door to us. There are 7 10' by 12' heated stalls with rubber matting and full video surveillance. Should your horse need to stay close you can rest assured they will be comfortable.
