EQUINE URGENT CARE

WMVS is proud to provide equine urgent care both during business hours and after hours on the days our equine team is on call. We currently collaborate with other clinics for after-hours coverage. If you require urgent care at any time, please call us, and we will ensure you are directly connected to the appropriate service.

AMBULATORY

Westwinds is fully equipped with equine ambulatory units, and our emergency team will be there when you need us. These services are available on days when our team is on call. In most cases, mobile services are used to stabilize your horse on-site. However, we recommend having access to a trailer for transport in emergency situations, as not all treatments can be performed on the farm. For the safety of both your horse and our staff, your horse may need to be transported to the clinic for certain procedures.

IN CLINIC

Located at 13105 Blackwater Rd, just west of Prince George, we are equipped to handle equine emergencies. Our spacious, heated facility includes stocks to ensure both you and your horse are comfortable during stressful times. Our dedicated team is here to support you and your equine partner whenever you need us.

Westwinds is excited to utilize Westridge's stalls located right next door to us. There are heated 10' by 12' stalls, equipped with rubber matting and full video surveillance. If your horse needs to stay nearby, you can rest assured they will be comfortable and well-cared for.
