Providing emergency and surgery services to for cattle in the Prince George area. Our mobile team can come to you in times of need. This will be limited to the days our cattle team is on call. 

Our reproductive services offers a comprehensive approach to improving reproductive performance. We focus on programs and monitoring of reproductive diseases, management of cow grouping, feeding, and handling around calving, as well as procedures for the postpartum period. Additionally, we consider the nutritional content of the ration, lameness control, genetics, and semen quality in order to optimize reproductive success.

Our Lameness control and management services focuses on prevention and treatment of lameness in cattle through a combination of hoof care, barn design, and preventative care. We develop individualized programs tailored to each farm to help minimize lameness in a herd.

We understand the importance of keeping your animals healthy and safe, and our experienced team will work with you to develop a tailored vaccination plan that meets the needs of your farm.

At Westwinds, we provide comprehensive calf and heifer management services, including colostrum management, feeding programs, nutrition evaluations, husbandry, procedures for sick calves, and growth performance monitoring.

Offering program and protocol review to help you ensure optimal animal health. Our team can review and develop biosecurity protocols, standard operating procedures, and nutrition programs to meet  your animal's needs.
